Module 2: Developing a Professional Learning Network
Module 2 introduced the concept of PLNs (Professional Learning Networks also known as Personal Learning Networks) and how these networks can be a crucial resource for any individual. PLNs can be utilized to create connections between people to share knowledge, ideas, experience or products. These networks can connect employers with prospective employees, and vice versa.
There are many tools that can be utilized when creating a PLN but for the purpose of this module we were instructed to choose Twitter, Edmodo or Google+. I decided to use Twitter to develop my PLN as this site is widely popular, highly accessible and easy to use.
I plan to use Twitter professionally to continually develop my PLN, my network of people, organizations, and places that are beneficial to my journey of lifelong learning. Find me @SaraTinney.
