MY Beliefs

I believe discussion is the key to learning and plan to implement interactive pedagogical tools in my classroom.

I believe both teachers and students engage in teaching and learning in the classroom and must strive to support an effective learning environment.

Life is a hands-on experience and so too should learning be an interactive and engaging experience.

Any human being can gain knowledge an work to achieve their dreams. Students are human beings so they too are capable of anything.

Reading and thinking critically about different texts can only increase a students knowledge.

Providing information to be memorized is not as valuable as providing the tools needed to analyze, question, and criticize.

I believe students only need to be made aware of their power and given the tools to utilize it.
